Founder of Orbyt Labs.

Justin Bartak

I've been CTO three times. Now my AI officers can refuse me.

A person at a desk with three monitors of code in a dark server room lit blue, glowing server towers on both sides and a wall of vertical blue light behind.

Hello, Orbyt Labs.

Orbyt Labs is one human and a team of AI officers. The officers run the departments. I do the deciding. They can refuse me. Every run is recorded. The ledgers are public.

They already have. The first review of my operating plan by a rival AI came back “Do not ratify as-is,” with three blockers. I fixed two. The third I waived on the record, the path the review itself allowed. Decision D-0028, July 20, 2026.

I'm testing in public whether AI can run a product, then a leadership team, then a company. Jobs, Intelligence, and Orbyt One are in early access today. I've been on Claude Code and Codex since day one.

Recognized at WWDC.

At Ntractive I built Elements: a web app in a native desktop shell, served from the internet, that looked and behaved like a desktop app. In 2007 that was new. Today it is common. Elements was featured at WWDC 2007. Apple leadership and Steve Jobs reviewed the product personally, the design as much as the architecture. It was showcased in Apple Stores from London to Tokyo. That moment shaped how I build.

Track record.

I've spent the last decade building platforms where complexity disappears and clarity stays. My work spans regulated fintech (banking, payments, tax, payroll, and accounting), proptech, CRM, and ERP. I've raised capital for my own companies. I've built the prototypes and working apps that other companies raised on.

I've been CTO three times. I've held CPO, CTO, CDO, and CMO titles, three of them at once at Norhart. I've led 30+ person teams. I've shipped entire products solo.

Building it was never the hard part.

Agreeing to listen was.

I take a few consulting projects at a time. The terms are on the consulting page. The rules I build by are the Creed. I write it down as it happens, in the books.
